To make a booking you will need to use the search function. The search function has various configurable parameters that will enable you to find the most convenient hotel listings based on your, or your clients', requirements.
You must fill out at least the Country and Location fields. Using specific fields will help you yield better results based on your requirements. If your search stop providing results, you will need to reduce your search parameters.
-
Arrival Date, Nights, Rooms and Guests—Set the date of arrival, the length of the stay, the number of rooms required and the total number of guests.
-
Country—Set the country (this is linked directly to the Airport Code).
-
Location—Where the hotel is within the country; this can be the city, a postcode, an airport or train station.
Note
You can search within a larger area using the following examples: typing 'Greater London' and pressing Enter will show a list of London Boroughs, or try typing 'London Metro:' which will show a list of London Underground Stations.
-
Hotel Name—Enter a hotel name, or part of a hotel name, if you want a specific result.
-
Distance—The distance dropdown can be changed from a 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 mile radius, this will increase the range that Hotel Booker uses to filter the search.
Quick Book hotels are set by your Agency Admin, once they are set you will see them by going to the Make a Booking page and clicking the Quick Book dropdown box.
You can select your preferred hotel from the dropdown list and click Search. This will bypass the search, select the hotel and ask you to confirm a rate.
-
Group Name—Set the hotel group that Hotel Booker will use to limit the search results. For example, set the Group Name to 'De Vere Hotels' and you will only receive hotel options that are part of the De Vere Hotels group.
-
Order—This is the search order of your results, which can either be By Distance (closest to furthest) or By Preferred (showing your preferred groups or hotels first).

-
Hotel Reference—Enter the GDS locator in this field, Hotel Booker will display all properties matching that reference.
Note
If two hotels are displayed, it is because the same ID is used for two different properties across different Global Distribution Systems.

-
Train Station Code—Use the finder to search the city or local area to show a list of available train stations for you to select from, upon selection this will automatically enter the Train Station Code.
