Frequently asked questions about transactions and receipts.
When viewing a virtual card, scroll down to the Transactions section. You can tap into an individual Transaction or tap the Receipts link. When viewing either section, you can use tap the ADD RECEIPT button. You can either take a new photo or select a file from your library. Conferma also provide a unique email address that is associated to the virtual card you created, allowing you to forward an email receipt to Conferma.
Just like any other payment card, it takes up to 4 days for the card transaction to appear on your account. receives card transaction data daily from our banking partners.
Once the data is received, will display the transaction record in the app.
Once you’ve created a virtual card and use the card for payment via a supplier’s website, the supplier’s website is likely to provide you with an order number or reference code. You can copy this reference from the supplier’s website into the Conferma App, allowing you to keep track of the payment against the supplier’s reference.
When using your digital wallet card on some mass transit system, such as Transport for London (TfL), your card will not be charged in full until the end of current day or start of the next day. Ring-fenced transactions are to help you avoid going over budget when these charges are made.
When you first tap into a mass transit system they will check that your card is a valid form of payment. will recognise this check and deduct a pre-defined amount (currently £12.00 for TfL) from your digital wallet card available balance.
We do this to ensure you have enough money at the end of the day when the final charge is made. This will only happen once per day when you first tap into the mass transit system. Journeys through the rest of the day will be pooled. If the final charge is less than the ring-fenced amount we will then refund the difference to your digital wallet card available balance.
The amount that is ring-fenced may be lower than the final cost in exceptional cases. will charge any additional amount in these cases. Any ring-fenced amount will be shown along side your transactions in the card details screen.
Tapping into the ring-fenced transaction will give you more details. When the final charge is made the transaction will be updated with the final amount.
We receive card transaction data daily from our banking partners. As this data is received and linked to trips or cards associated to your profile, your analytics data is updated.
If you are viewing analytics in an alternate currency from the billing currency associated to the card transaction data, it may also be impacted by the latest exchange rate. Data is presented based on the current (todays) exchange rate.
If you feel the Conferma App has incorrectly categorised your transaction data, simply find the transaction associated to the card, tap the transaction and re-categorise as you feel necessary. The Summary tab will be updated with the new details.
When your profile is unlinked from an account / Team by an administrator, you will no longer be able to view the cards associated to your account and therefore you cannot see the card transaction data either which will impact your Summary view.
