Your Corporate Administrator sets any mandatory customer data fields. Common examples of these are fields for a cost centre, project code or job number.
If you are unsure of what to enter, contact your Corporate Administrator for more information about what information they need you to enter in these fields.
Double check you have entered the billing address details accurately within the supplier’s website. If the billing address you entered is correct, contact your Corporate Administrator who can validate the address. If the billing address needs correcting, the Corporate Administrator can contact Conferma to have this updated.
Tap and hold your finger over the card details on the card image to copy the values, such as card number, expiry date, card-holder name and security code, to your clip-board. You can then switch to your other app and paste the details there.
You will need to copy and paste one value at a time.
eCommerce virtual cards can be used to purchase goods or services online. For example; adding a bag during a flight check-in, buying travel insurance, pre-booking airport parking, ground transfers, creating a card for use in a ride sharing app, or ordering some food online if you’re working late.
To make the payment, copy and paste the virtual card details in the same way that you would enter details from a physical card.
Note
You will need a separate eCommerce virtual card for each supplier you pay.
If you need to make payments on the go at multiple Merchants, you will need to create a Digital Wallet card.
You can use virtual cards that are added to your Apple Pay or Google Pay Digital Wallet at the point of sale for in-store purchases or in-app purchases where accepted by the Merchant.
You do not need to create a Digital Wallet card for each purchase. Digital Wallet cards are typically created for an entire trip period and can be used at multiple Merchants during your trip.
Cards that are in a Pending Approval or Active (Deployed) status can be cancelled in the app by the Team Member.
To cancel a card, tap Manage in the top-right of the screen and then Cancel Card . You will be asked to confirm the cancellation request. Team Admins can also cancel a Team Member's card in the app in the same way.
Your Corporate Administrator may have automatically associated some Custom Data Field values to your profile, to speed up creating virtual cards. You can edit or remove these values from your profile screen.
You can also simply type over the prefilled values when you create the card, if you want to enter different information.
Conferma supports a list of pre-defined suppliers you can quickly associate to your spend.
If you cannot find your specific supplier in the list you can simply tap the first result in the supplier listing which reflects what you have typed into the search bar. This will be used as the supplier on your purchase.
The Conferma App is only compatible with Google Pay on Android devices. If you usually use an alternative to Google Pay, you will need to update your settings on your device to use Google Pay as the default in order to use your Conferma virtual cards. You can change the settings back after using your Conferma card if you prefer.
Note
The specific instructions to change your digital wallet settings vary by device. In most cases, you will find the setting under "NFC" or "Default Payment App" in your device settings. If you are unable to find where to update this, please follow the instructions for your specific device, provided by your device manufacturer.

You can see the available to spend balance within the Conferma App when navigating to the virtual card from the App home screen. The Digital Wallet available balance is a real-time view based on your committed spend.
The Digital Wallet service provides both real-time payment notifications and balance updates because the payment networks are updated in real time for this payment method. The Conferma platform works closely with the payment network to use the information to update the Conferma App.
Because eCommerce merchants do not usually update the payment networks in real time, it is not possible for the Conferma App to provide the same real time information for eCommerce cards.
The most common reasons a Digital Wallet transaction is declined are:
-
The card isn’t active: you’ve tried to use the card before it’s been activated or after it’s been deactivated. You can check the Conferma App for more details.
-
Insufficient funds: you can check the Conferma App for your available balance.
-
Merchant has been blocked: either Conferma or your corporation has blocked the category of merchant.
It is possible to receive a declined transaction at the point of sale when the Conferma App has not declined the transaction. This could be a network issue or the Merchants acquirer does not accept the type of card. These automatic declines happen without contacting the Conferma platform and are not controlled by Conferma.
Digital Wallet cards are remotely deactivated 12 hours after the deactivation date.
The Conferma App allows this 12 hour period for delayed merchant authorisations or travel delays. For example, some travel merchants like metro systems often initiate authorisation after midnight.
The additional 12 hours doesn't allow for any additional spend above the card's maximum limit.
