Administrators can create custom reports. To create a custom report, click Customise Reports (beneath the Run Report button).
The default reports that you can customise are:
-
Standard Transaction Report
-
Standard Deployment Report
-
App Reports
-
Select a Report Template.
-
Give the new report a unique name and select the type of Column Delimiter you require for downloads (the standard is 'Comma {,}' which downloads in .csv format).
-
Choose which columns to include in the report by moving them across from the Available Columns list provided to the Selected Columns list. You can click the arrows to move everything across and remove the ones you don't. Use the arrows on the far right to re-order the headings up or down.
-
Click Customise.
-
You will see the columns that you have created in edit mode where you can make amendments, adjust the column names and set the format for the way the data is displayed.
You will also be presented with a preview of the customised report containing dummy data.
-
To add a new column to your report, click the Options dropdown in the top right and click Add Column.
-
To add an additional default column to your existing report, select 'Default' as the Type and then choose from the predefined list of existing column names. The list will populate with any columns that have not yet been added to the report.
If required, you can also specify the column name and format at this point and click Save to add the column.
-
The 'Static Value' Type allows you to add a column with a fixed value for all lines in the report.
For example, if you always require a Company ID that will be the same for all deployments, select the Column Name and then add the Company ID into the Value field.
Enter the Column Name and required Value and click Save.
-
To add a Custom Data Value to your customised report select 'Custom Data Value' as the Type, enter a Column Name and the Custom Data Key and click Save.
Enter the name of the Custom Data Field that you wish to add to the report in the Custom Data Key field. The Custom Data Key is used as the identifier to extract the data from your deployments, and this Custom Data Key must match your Custom Data Field name exactly.
For example, if you have a Custom Data Field label as ‘COST CENTRE’, then Custom Data Key should also be named ‘COST CENTRE’ in the same format. There should be no spaces before or after.
Caution
If the information entered in the Custom Data Key field does not exactly match the Custom Data Field you are adding, the report will not be able to display the information.
-
The Smart Description column is a composite field showing key transaction data in one column. It is similar to a transaction narrative, but contains more detail.
The use of this field would allow you to create a report containing only this field and your custom data fields.
The field contains:
-
Start Date
-
Deployment Amount
-
Name of Supplier
-
Supplier Reference
-
Conferma snap administrators can share their custom reports with users that belong to the same Card Pool Group. To do this, click Options from within the report and select 'Share Report'.
Once the report has been shared by an administrator, it will be available to all other users and will appear in the list of reports for them to select. The report can be unshared at any time by selecting 'Unshare Report'.
Note
When the report has been shared, the 'Share Report' option will become 'Unshare Report'. If you unshare the report, this will revert to 'Share Report'.
Reports can only be amended or deleted by the user that created the report. To delete any of your own custom reports, click Delete Report.
Caution
Once the custom report is deleted, all configuration settings will be removed and you will not be able to retrieve them. Deleting a custom report will also remove the report for all users that the report has previously been shared with.
